  1. @justinph I think it's just nature's way of telling you to bike. :)
  2. @sebchan Oooh, cool. I want to read that.
  3. Hmm. Good start to the harvest, but slow. And I want images.
  4. Super excited: got my hands on another institution's collection data as cdwalite. About to start trying to harvest for a proof-of-concept.
  5. @miaridge Ok, now I *finally* believe your accent is Australian. :)
  6. @anarchivist Hmm. Good point. But it's 20M and needs to split into about 250 individual files...? (Ok, I just suck at XSLT. :)
  7. I can barely catch my breath, and it's awesome. Best ride home evar.
  8. Man, perl remains incredibly useful for weird little tasks: splitting and munging a huge xml file into bits. (until I learn Python, anyway)
  9. Just got a little excited about some work stuff. Been a while. :)
  10. @drhuettl Sweet! Her fish misses her... :)
  11. @freddies Awesome! Good to have a place to call home. For now. :)
  12. @jslag Whoa. Near miss! :)
  13. Dear everyone rushing to defend coldfusion: a) I know it's not cf's fault the page is poorly written and b) you're seriously defending cf?
  14. Good gravy, this coldfusion page is nothing but ten thousand nested includes. Grr, coldfusion...
  15. Porting cfm to php. :(
  16. @zoebakes No oven thermometer, I shld probably start there. Ramekins R rounded cups, but make good creme brule. I'll try again and report!
  17. Wildly awesome "machine tags" at flickr. So cool. http://bit.ly/169Co5
  18. @justinph Seemed to be the two bolts acting like cotter pins (?). Dunno the terminology, just took it all apart and tightened it up.
  19. @Q_Dawg Aww. Does ums have to do some paperwork before you can take advantage of your awesome scholarship in Italy? ;)
  20. Finally found and fixed the creak in my bike. Can't wait for tomorrow's ride.
