  1. @dofferdahl I'd be fine with your roster also. I just fear Burke is going to go safe and pick too many old guys.
  2. @dofferdahl I was actually saying that if Guerin or Weight of Tkachuk make it, then Brown is out
  3. Oy, I keep forgetting that Paul Stastny plays for the US, not Canada. He's on this team too.
  4. @dofferdahl Brown and Okposo are similar players. Basically it all comes down to how many of the old guard make it. I'd like to see none.
  5. @dofferdahl if Carle doesn't make it, something is seriously wrong. 6th in points and tops in +/- among American defenders
  6. @dofferdahl I know, that's my one fear with him. I would hope he can turn it around. If he'd out, he's replaced by Brown.
  7. @dofferdahl and I think Wheeler is well suited to the iihf game. He would be a 3rd liner and can work down low.
  8. @dofferdahl Greene is out. Thought is that he never went through the pre-testing regiment for anti-doping. He'd be my top choice otherwise
  9. Team USA 2010 - Hockey Wilderness Style. Take a look at my roster and let me know what you think. http://sbnation.com/e/992027
  10. @dofferdahl that's close to mine. But I have Wheeler and Legwand in.
  11. Hey look at that, we're the #8 Minnesota blog! Thanks to everyone for your support! http://bit.ly/91TIk5
  12. The other SB Nation NHL writers & I are discussing who we think should make the US Olympic team. Look for it later today or tomorrow on sbn.
  13. What? No Brent Burns? Guess his concussion hurt his chances, huh? (Canada names Olympic Roster) http://bit.ly/7HO5N1
  14. @nhldigest Is he still going to pull that crap where he won't go if Backstrom starts?
  15. Minnesota Wild Olympians: Backstrom, Koivu, Miettinen, Havlat, Zidlicky http://sbnation.com/e/989122
  16. Minnesota Wild 2-4 Anaheim Ducks: Bobby Ryan's two goals get the Ducks past the red-hot Wild. http://sbnation.com/e/989106
  17. Whoops, sorry, 4-2.
  18. Well, that was a fun ride at the end. But the Wild couldn't overcome the 5 on 3 goal in the second period. Ducks 3-2 Wild final.
  19. With that Kim Johnsson goal, the end of this game could get interesting. Ducks 3-2 Wild
  20. If you're Todd Richards, what do you say in the locker room? "Hey guys, we're getting screwed, let's just play it out and don't get hurt"?
