  1. Yep, SELinux. Sorted. Subversion repos and web access should be back.
  2. vetinari/yum now offline for rebuild.
  3. Based on how long it's taking to backup, looks like tomorrow for a rebuild.
  4. Taking backups of vetinari/yum; may upgrade as well.
  5. Munin and nfswatch FTW.
  6. Just posted a blog entry on the power outage over break: http://bit.ly/4FgRAN.
  7. Looks like there was a bad DIMM in the machine; sure would be great if that was the problem all along....
  8. Swapped out machines; web server should be back up. On the plus side, we might see whether there's a hardware component to the problem.
  9. Web server crashed again. Use http://tiffany.math.hmc.edu/ instead; tiffany instead of www should work for all URLs.
  10. Web server has a kernel panic; will need a visit to reboot.
  11. hex is back.
  12. hex is down; looks like a kernel panic; investigating.
  13. In the process of getting the Amber cluster running again.
  14. Finally. http://bit.ly/Nus6j actually shows the new versions now.
  15. And when I say "a bit", I mean "a lot".
  16. Doing a bit of yak shaving to get Mason working again so I can update the website to serve the new hmcpset class. *sigh*
  17. New release of hmcpset homework class: http://bit.ly/Nus6j
  18. hex is back; machine room chillin'.
  19. hex offline until further notice. We have a chiller situation and hex generates a lot of heat.
  20. The good side is that we won't have to worry about switching back. The bad side is that we didn't make the switch.
