  8. 15:49 CEST ACQUISITION OF SIGNAL!! First signal from Herschel & Planck has arrived via ESA's New Norcia station. Both satellites are alive!
  9. 15:40 CEST 1750 km --> Planck separation confirmed. Now waiting for acquisition of signal expected in about 10 mins.
  10. 15:38 CEST Altitude 1150 Km --> Herschel separation confirmed
  11. 15:21:05 CEST Ariane 5 upper stage stage ignition
  12. 15:20:55 CEST Ariane 5 main stage extinction & upper stage separation
