  1. @drjohnhawkins ugh at Star Wars II. I cannot believe how dated the CGI looks and how wooden much of the script and acting is. Sorry. ;-)
  2. http://vimeo.com/5732745 is rather lovely (Bobby McFerrin Demonstrates the Power of the Pentatonic Scale).
  3. http://100strangers.com is a great idea. Think I'll have a go at that.
  4. @cjknudsen try http://buildr.apache.org It's like Maven 2 only without the XML-drowning.
  5. I know tickets cannot be had for love nor money, so I'm just taunting you, but The Cherry Orchard at the Old Vic was Absolutely Wondrous.
  6. @drjohnhawkins regarding Laphroaig tasting... Errr, do you even need to ask?
  7. I cannot begin to describe how fabulous scotch eggs are when you get home at 03:14 having imbibed excessive whiskies.
  8. I once again find myself at a regatta taking a thousand photos of silly people in lycra.
  9. @drjohnhawkins Good God, man; need food - tomorrow is going to be more ugly than a Bavarian tatooing contest.
  10. Go to http://www.youtube.com/html5 in Safari 4 beta and mouse over the related videos #io2009 :)
  11. Never really thought about it, but Vic at #io2009 has a good point about not being able to draw diagonal lines in browsers 'til recently. :)
  12. @wfaler GSON works for me.
  13. Stu and some beams. http://short.to/agwz
  14. I find myself in Ye Olde Mitre. Lovely.
  15. Go and see #intheloop - most scathing and cutting film ever, probably. Eye-wateringly funny, too.
  16. Have stacks of rhubarb so just made crumble. I love crumble.
  17. http://twitpic.com/41e5d - I find myself looking at tulips.
  18. On Photoshop's file format and sharks: http://tinyurl.com/dkvq9x
  19. Where is the N44? Should have got a taxi.
  20. @crazybob OGNL is a dead project and using the compiler stuff is very tedious. MVEL is faster and generally nicer. No idea about others.
