  17. Dusty train and long sleepless ride in back of truck. Going to relax at Terjit - original plans scrapped since it rained in the desert!
  18. Struggling to find anyone who has biked Choum-Atar or the Amogjar pass. Time to stock up on food and water for an adventurous few days!
  19. By myself again.... the long iron ore train ride tomorrow should give me time to decide whether to attempt the 120km from Choum to Atar.
  20. Researching paddling the Niger by pirogue and horse-riding in Burkina Faso. Riding world's longest train tomorrow. I'm cycling too, promise!
