  1. Just returned from Franschhoek. We entered a festival w/o knowing it (Bastillle Festival).
  2. Just realised that yesterday was the birthday of Nikola Tesla. Bring out your coils.
  3. @johannburkard: viel Spass. Ich muss auch mal wieder ne längere Wanderung machen. Möglichkeiten gibt es hier ja reichlich.
  4. Great, I lost the game, too.
  5. @longhotsummer: Nice Kenia pictures.
  6. Finally got a new blog post out: http://mr-co.de/blog/displa... Is the 13 a good or a bad sign? Still need to get a duckprxy update out.
  7. "Every program (whether executable or script [...])". Script programs are not executable?
  8. @codeacrobat: Moose klingt ja schon interessant. Fast ein Grund sich mal wieder Perl genauer anzusehen.
  9. @longhotsummer Have you checked http://www.dopplr.com/place... ?
  10. @johannburkard Haha, warum sollte ich denn das tun? Ne, ich habe nach #NeighbourGood Cape Town gesucht. Meinten Sie Neighbourhood? Nein!
  11. Has anyone else the feeling that the quality of google's search results is slowly degrading?
  12. Is there any good introduction material to #CLOS #MOP? #AMOP is not really a good reference for that IMHO.
  13. Trying out Twitux. Writing up specifications for a new private project.
  14. I was just thinking asdf-install could use a add-key function and then saw that it does. Oh joy.
  15. Frustrated with XMPP. Sending with cl-xmpp does nothing. Logging in with smack throws NPE. And the scheme xmpp package is not available ...
  16. WTF. StringBuffer is final. There goes my DuckPrxy example. :( I don't quite understand the underutilization of interfaces in JRE anyway.
  17. @johannburkard: Flatrate in South Africa? Bwahahahaha.
  18. Getting my squid to write daily summaries into my web directory. This little sea creature really saves me same bandwidth.
  19. And ipw is also not the most stable network driver I have witnessed. Getting lots of firmware error messages.
  20. sysctl net.inet.ip.forwarding 1 did not convince my FreeBSD machine to forward the packages. Hmmph.
