iZotope's Alloy was a big hit. It's a channel strip plug-in on steroids, sort of like Ozone but designed for tracks, not mastering/buses.

Shure's KSM313 is a REALLY rugged ribbon mic - you can blast the ribbon with an air compressor, and it still doesn't blow.

We usually don't think of Monster as an AES kinda company, but their in-ear pro earphones sound fantastic. You could mix on them.

Not many DAWs-Cakewalk, Samplitude, Steinberg had the show to themselves. Samplitude 11 looks good - new limiter, EQ, amp sim, track takes.
