  1. (yes, i'm totally the nerd who twitters a block party)
  2. we're on about band number 5, best one yet. just some random dude's backyard birthday, who is apparently the coolest dude on earth.
  3. there's a band in my neighbor's yard. they are loud, and they are good, and there's a crowd. sort of a silversun pickups sound. #onmyway
  4. @danielsoneg there's plenty of parking for horsebuggies. i'm more concerned with horsebuggy sanitation.
  5. @danielsoneg if you do a wikipedia search for "dialog", it redirects you to "dialogue". and wikipedia is ALWAYS right.
  6. I spell it "dialogue". When you're searching docs on how to set up "dialog" boxes, this can be a very big problem.
  7. dispersed documentation for an evolving platform = lots of information that's 2 years out of date. yeargh.
  8. today has been the day of easy things made difficult by uncooperative technology.
  9. @jasonw22 what do you mean "sort of"? todo lists are terrifying creatures of nightmare and myth!
  10. @jasonw22 i gave actionmethod.com a try. it looked great, but I felt overwhelmed by my task list before even getting to the tasks.
  11. what I want: a shared todo list that lives in the cloud, with a kick-ass desktop app. I'm thinking Evernote + The Hit List. make it happen!
  12. twitter's timeline is messed up, sending my tweets out of order. wee!
  13. the Typekit editing interface preview http://bit.ly/D4jRm is strikingly similar to the fontfriday.com font browsing interface i'm making.
  14. ...but definitely different things prioritized. kind of nice to see i'm not chasing a ridiculous concept on my own, though.
  15. I only need a fax machine once every couple years, but when I do need one, man is it a pain in the ass.
  16. @robknight District 9 still looks like it'll be awesome, though.
  17. @robknight if there's one thing peter jackson can do, it's make a movie appear to be about much more than it actually is.
  18. @Toeburn you didn't cross the streams, did you? </poor introduction>
  19. @robknight your URL is cut off, but i remember you showing that to me before - it's brilliant. i shall steal it and call it my own.
  20. 2 VMs, a shared screen, script/server, photoshop, a baker's dozen of assorted dev tools, and one very hot lap. yow.
