  1. Tay Zonday once assisted me immediately following a bad knee injury and then emailed me advice from WebMD. #lameclaimtofame
  2. Realizing my idea for an awesome Tumblr blog is impossible with current technology, I've emailed Tumblr president John Maloney for help.
  3. @DeeptiLamba my "harsh values" from saying famous people (or semi-famous people) are more privileged than others. Real controversial!

  5. MAN WALKS ON FUCKING MOON http://kottke.org/apollo-11/
  6. @davewiner oft-quoted people aren't privileged? Anyway, it's besides the point. There are deeper problems w/ journalism than misquotes.
  7. @davewiner, the *critique* of misquotes is self-absorbed. Anyone quoted in a newspaper is already privileged above normal citizens.
  8. For the love of all things good, I need just one additional Google Voice invite for a nefarious project. DM me if you've got one, yo.
  9. @davewiner I wrote for my college newspaper, so I know that *some* misquotes are malicious. But misquotes are a symptom not a problem!
  10. @kevinmccann we had to shoo away some kids who were playing on it. Move along kids, grown-ups at work on these here moving stairs!
  11. @davewiner are misquotes malicious? Or artifacts of the time/process constraints of synthesizing a narrative, as explained by @jayrosen_nyu?
  12. @davewiner no, but the misquote critique seems self-absorbed… @jayrosen_nyu explained the basics of reporting, which you wouldn't accept.
  13. @davewiner seems to hate getting misquoted in the press; that's where his media analysis stops. @jayrosen_nyu tries valiantly to explain.
  14. Every time I listen to "Rebooting the News," I get the sense that @davewiner doesn't quite get what journalism is.
  15. RT @kottkedotorg Apollo 11 landing on TV as it aired 40 years ago http://kottke.org/apollo-11

  17. @foursquare, being new to DC, thought it'd be great to see the most checked-in locales here. Y'know, where the cool kids go. #featurerequest
