  3. Gwibber once again fully functional in Ubuntu 9.04. You might have to re-enter your login info if you are getting 401 errors.
  4. Gwibber will now display incoming direct messages for Twitter/Laconi.ca users on the Replies tab. They will be highlighted bright red.
  5. Added support for URL searches in Gwibber via @jdub's Tweetbacks service.
  6. Gwibber is moving to team-based development. This will accelerate the rate at which your branches get merged. Start hacking! :-)
  7. Gwibber can now automatically shorten URLs when they are pasted into the input box. This feature can be toggled via the preference dialog.
  8. Gwibber will now automatically preserve the user's tabs when it is closed and restarted.
  9. Gwibber will now correctly identify itself as the client when posting to Twitter.
  10. If you are experiencing problems with Gwibber on Ubuntu 8.04, you will need updated pywebkitgtk packages for Gwibber. We are working on this
  11. Ubuntu users: if you are on 8.10 please make sure you use the webkit packages from the Ubuntu repositories and not the WebKit PPA.
  12. Gwibber now supports theming! You can select a theme in the Preferences dialog. Put your custom themes in ~/.local/share/gwibber/ui/themes
  13. Gwibber can now display Jaiku threads in new tabs. I also added support for keyboard tab navigation.
  14. Generic Laconi.ca server support is now working in Gwibber. I have committed the fix to version control, but it hasn't been packaged yet.

  18. The old main branch is being retired. All ongoing development will take place in the webkitui branch. I've redirected lp:gwibber accordingly
