  1. @RichardDevine Say "Hi" from me
  2. The video artform has officially peaked. http://bit.ly/45zlMN
  3. @gingerbeardman I assume it's called "discovery" because it's very disco.
  4. @double_thumb I love Eminem. "When I'm Gone" has photo-realistic speech patterns, as if sampled from recorded conversations - genius!
  5. @Synoiz The Nord Lead is - to my ears - a very 90s synth. I associate it with Underworld, "Smack My Bitch" Prodigy. Not very "Yazoo"...
  6. @AlanisNews I'm sure it will.
  7. @Synoiz "In For The Kill" sounds like there's a live guitar in there. It feels "earlier" than "Bulletproof".
  8. @AlanisNews It's got a beat with lots of clapping. And brilliant middle bit with some outrageous guitar tapping :)
  9. @AdrianeLake Done
  10. @Synoiz To me it sounds "virtual analog" - Clavia Nord sounding. But I could be proved wrong.
  11. @Mitholas I like organic that sound electro the best. Discover techno in nature . My friend Mileece makes electro from plants. Very cool.
  12. @AdrianeLake The specialist columns, about Dubstep etc, they're helpful. But P's default attitude is conformist hipsterism.
  13. @AdrianeLake Personally I trust Dynaudio speakers, especially Air 6s. When I'm recording in the US I try & hire in a pair as a reference.
  14. @JonJDodd Choosing a running order for "FoE" was so difficult. "Madness" is a personal fave. I cried the first time Alanis sang it.
  15. @JonJDodd I'm proud of my work w Alanis & Immi - 2 of the greatest artists. When I'm grumpy, get a parking ticket &c, I try & remember that.
  16. @JonJDodd I think the production works for where she's at now. It's very "late noughties":)
  17. @shapednoise Not at all. His basso profundo is an acquired taste. Fortunately for me I acquired it.
  18. @double_thumb I take it you already have a keytar & a Tenori-On?
  19. @mark_marshall The first Joni album I bought was "Don Juan's..." . I heard it in a record store & fell in love with the voice.
  20. @double_thumb I prefer Roots Manuva. Actually I prefer Maxi Jazz too - how uncool is that?
