  1. @mil_oss true that software.forge.mil concept is not new to those of us in OSS, but clearly is diff for a lot of folks within DoD/gov. :)
  2. @ed_dodds Cool - thanks for the links - some interesting stuff in there, especially OpenGRID....
  3. @rossturk Ah yes, @hunleyd using annoyance to get what he wants - we're used to it. :) *ducks*
  4. Good post from @DanaNourie - 'The Usefulness of Twitter': http://bit.ly/M80eP - made me think of my pending blog post on inst communities.
  5. RT @hollyseddon: "Five Myths of Community Management" http://ow.ly/gpm5 (via @OCReport) Great post. - Yup - spot on!
  6. @whiteship1 An iPhone? Aren't they going to drum you out of Moto for that? Or take away their Moto Tattoo from your arm? :)
  7. RT @StephanieALloyd: social media, search, PR & marketing are inextricably linked - they're not silos! (via @arikhanson) +1
  8. @rosiepongracz Wave when you come by Morgan Hill (if you are going 101).. :)
  9. @rossturk Congrats on new sourceforge.net launch - new logo looks very Star Trek:TNG'y... :)
  10. RT @jmichele: "Build policies around job performance, not fuzzy concerns about productivity." http://bit.ly/KInGd (via @timoreilly) +1
  11. RT @TheCR: RT @eugenelee: "A community is like a ship; everyone ought to be prepared to take the helm" by @dirkrnshaw http://bit.ly/Ehm3w
  12. @jrep Well, if that is an art, I certainly hope Boucher practices that well in Philly. :)
  13. Phi Flyers have signed free agent goalie Brian Boucher (via @rlepold) Now he can stand there & let one go in off his pads like he did in SJ.
  14. @jrep Ok, I'm listening - do tell? Tweetboard gives you a chance to do Twitter aggregation - granted, their might be better tools....
  15. Community Mgmt power tools: corp "presence" via self-aggregation http://is.gd/1kmyD @JOwyang (via @jrep) sounds like: http://tweetboard.com
  16. @corbett3000 Might need to chat with you about Apps for Defense - has a tie into forge.mil - can do phone or IM.. let me know. Thx.
  17. @kit_plummer Correct, & keep in mind that SoftwareForge is built on CollabNet TeamForge, which != Sourceforge.net (codebase or otherwise)
  18. @kit_plummer Could consider some web 2.0-ish features at some point - main forge.mil page is just jumping off point to the 5 capabilities.
  19. @kit_plummer If you are referring to look/feel of https://forge.mil, the answer is 'probably never'. Diff (& larger) mission than SF.net.
  20. Cisco: Video is the "killer app" (http://bit.ly/p0pFg). Video ok but takes too long. (via RT @mjasay) Video is complement to other tech.
