  1. @queenofcomplex Ha ha, I must speak to her about that. It was probably too far from her "territory".
  2. @laurenbeukes No, the incident in my hood was a hijacking and cop chase. The cops won.
  3. Massive hijacking, shooting, sirens, in my suburb last night. What worries me more is that I didn't hear a thing.
  4. Oh, good, an apology at last in the Malema vs Cronin spat. Can you guess which one says he's sorry? http://bit.ly/5ugfGq
  5. @ChrisRoperZA Have you tried Joburg Water, 011 6881500? I've found them to be pretty helpful when the taps run dry.
  6. @BruceRelates That sums him up perfectly. He was merciless yet compassionate. And also very, very funny, in print as well as on stage.
  7. A stream of history: WikiLeaks releases half-a-million intercepted text pager messages from 9/11. http://bit.ly/4pOMeK
  8. @PeterKlem I agree, much easier to maintain as well!
  9. Free to good home, Jhb: 2 X tropical catfish, 1 X silver dollar, v. good condition, well-behaved, too big for son's fish-tank. DM pse.
  10. @muzhunter That's mighty kind of you. I will be your friend.
  11. @faranaaz I'm all for "The Nexties".
  12. @ChrisRoperZA It's Stanley Kubrick's fault. He totally started it.
  13. @ChrisRoperZA @shapshak It is indeed...I can't make it, alas, but will be tuned in to this frequency. Enjoy, & good luck!
  14. @ChrisRoperZA Can't stand "The Noughties". Prefer "The Andys". As in two-thousand-AND-one, two-thousand-AND-two, etc.
  15. iCall it the iDecade: the decade iTuned into music again, iReKindled my love of books, & iPhoned. #21CTweet
  16. If there were any justice in the world, George Carlin, & not George Bush, would have been President of the USA.
  17. @clivesimpkins He's not a bad poet either. I mean, he's a BAD poet, but his poetry isn't bad, at least compared to Adolf Hitler's paintings.
  18. @clivesimpkins There's definitely a greater earthiness to the language...& it's an African earthiness too, which adds to the emotive effect.
  19. @SingleSyllable Webwerf adres, asseblief!
  20. @SingleSyllable It's the same with English poetry too...I think because the best poets of today are always putting music to their poetry.
