  2. I gotta say the freeware "Burn" app for OSX is pretty awesome, does a focused, useful set of features very well

  5. Lame. Got a ticket from a bored cop for being 15 over while coasting downhill on east-west connector.

  7. finally got these orphaned locks to clear in the DB, now vacuuming a DB that hasn't been vacuumed in 4 months - it is taking awhile

  11. @mailchimp_api any issues with the API? just had all of our linked customers drop their configs due to failed verification

  13. found some postgres autovacuum process on our JMS message database that have been blocked since March...

  16. @keithmcgreggor consider checking out Scala - nice jvm language that integrates really well with any/all existing java code you may have
  17. friend recs from facebook are scary, how does it know the guy I do our hardware leases through? we have no common friends/networks/pages
