  1. signs capitulation! Usage of varying #dois on abstract page and in pdf full text seems to be common problem: http://bit.ly/4ByJ5f (NPG)
  2. Taylor & Francis' "new launch library" looks like a very effective harassment of link resolver admins: http://bit.ly/1OWrNG
  3. SFX KB: Ex Libris rejects to load M. A. Liebert's holding file. Why? Does not match with policy for consecutive journals on one homepage
  4. Maybe I'm just a truffle pig for fuzzy problems? Found another publisher with varying dois in pdf & on abstract page: http://bit.ly/3hFJwe
  5. The Electronic Journals Library (EZB) now integrates the publisher's open access policy provided via sherpa: http://bit.ly/1IoQeh
  6. I ♥ Mary Ann Liebert publishers: Holding file provides exactly the information SFX needs. Only need to convince Ex Libris to make use of it
  7. @epentz I would be interested in future use cases on #crossref data and hope for API to cited-by service & OA tag in metadata #crossref09
  8. @lukask true: home sweet home! Considering the agenda we thought that Erik would be the appropriate representative.
  9. @foda have an interesting exl developer meeting! I'm envious I can't join!
  10. What I've learned today: #Firefox interprets "--" as end of comment. Where I've seen it first: Broken display of SFX menu due to #bX rec
  11. @bsb_it_andi InfoGuide-Wiki ist zugangsbeschränkt - what a pity!
  12. searching an API: isbn2ddc ("The Thousands Sections"). Any idea beside isbndb?
  13. @schoenfe aha, back to the basisc! Aber ich bin ja schon auf das Datenprojekt gespannt
  14. @schoenfe HURRA!
  15. @ostephens naming the same thing differently may be even worse? Label re-use seems to be pretty common: e.g. "year" in http://bit.ly/3gwNKw
  16. @ostephens ... something in my subconscious prevents me from realizing how much manual "copy&paste"-ing is done everywhere
  17. @ostephens What would you request the publisher to do? Keep/Register both DOIs - or is there a defined process to correct/merge DOIs?
  18. @ostephens re: "rekeying data between systems" - I really hope that they aren't doing it manually...
  19. @ostephens ... and it's not an isolated case. My users stumbled about 4 examples in the last 4 weeks
  20. @ostephens true, they registered the "abstract DOI" at Crossref, but WoK uses the "pdf DOI" - and I wouldn't blame Thmoson for it
