  1. @jowyang Thanks for the introduction to @giorodriguez. Smart guy, great perspectives.
  2. @Aerocles I think I'd prefer some kind of average rating (scale 1-5, etc.) instead of just tallying likes and dislikes.
  3. @Aerocles I'm on both sides here. I'm all about empowering users, but as a FB page admin, I don't really see "dislikes" adding value.
  4. @Aerocles I can't imagine Facebook implementing that, just because negativity would always drown out the likes. But maybe I'm a pessimist.
  5. Firefox plugin lets you "dislike" things on Facebook, but no one will actually see it. http://bit.ly/11g0EN Via @aerocles
  6. @ScottHepburn Oh yeah, I remember that song, but didn't remember the singer's name. Very fun.
  7. Four social media trends that will rattle retail this Christmas: http://bit.ly/OFgmK
  8. @ConsumerQueen What?! Guys at #gno? Crazy talk.
  9. @heatherrast Well, I still think a strong topic and perspective are the most important. To me, linking is about backing up your argument.
  10. @ScottHepburn @JasonFalls I personally prefer bloggers who aggregate brilliance and let their judgment build their reputation.
  11. @ScottHepburn @JasonFalls I think top-tier bloggers also feel the pressure to bring new insights to the table with each post.
  12. If you live in Huntsville, Ala., or almost any part of Tennessee, you MUST go here and order the tiramisu cupcake: http://bit.ly/wFiYu
  13. @JasonFalls It's Seth Syndrome. "This isn't a conversation. This is a lecture." But even lecturers cite sources.
  14. @JasonFalls Linking as in "for more on this topic, check out..." or linking as in blogrolls?
  15. Got to stock @tweetfreakblog's "Five to Follow" this week with some of my favorites - http://bit.ly/3ctKKR
  16. @Armano You might have ended up at .fr through a google search, which can switch your .com language. Happened to me once with Japanese.
  17. @Armano Zut alors!
  18. @mjcarney Huntsville. Sorry. But they are AWESOME.
  19. Bad news: The independent coffee shop I used to work at was crushed by Starbucks. Good news: It's now a gourmet cupcake shop!
