  1. @GlennF In my recent experience, they don't even wait for that. My rates have gone up and I've always paid on time.
  2. @jwilker Regarding Nan Desu Kan: Oh, yes, it is indeed hella fun. (Disclaimer: I'm on the board, etc., etc.)
  3. There seems to be a great desire among my friends to get me to start drinking. I'm trying to develop a system for when I inevitably give in.
  4. Getting ready to play Axis & Allies with some friends. I haven't played the physical version of the game in years. I can't wait.
  5. Gmail Labs' Forgotten Attachment Detector saves me from yet another embarrassing "oops, forgot the attachment" e-mail...
  6. @GlennF It would have my full support. Especially if it also had spelling and grammar tests.
  7. And yes, I also realize that I called it "Native Development Toolkit," which ruins the "NDK" initialism. It's just "Kit," of course.
  8. @teknomantik Yes, with C and C++ support. They only recommend it for edge cases that need the performance gains: http://is.gd/1fre8
  9. I think Google's naming of Android's "Native Development Toolkit" has permanently killed Nan Desu Kan's search engine mojo for "NDK"...
  10. @wilw You're not cool, you're nerd-cool.
  11. @clint And now they say he's dead.
  12. Ah, OK. It's a gesture of support for Mousavi. Yet another meaningless Internet protest. Does anyone really think it'll make any difference?
  13. What's with all the green-tinted user icons? I didn't get the memo (or the meme).
  14. Becoming really frustrated because SSH is failing to connect. It's making it impossible to get any work done.
  15. @digsby Please give users an option to make the taskbar stop flashing after a few flashes. The eternal flashing drives me crazy.
  16. @benswords The interfaces for both Lala and thesixtyone may be HTML/CSS/JS, but the audio comes from Flash.
  17. Comcast just cold-called me and upgraded my service. They'll charge less than I'm paying now, no contract. Prices go up in a year. Spiffy.
  18. Screw it. I'm at http://facebook.com/glhines -- sorry, @glhines, but it's my standby.
  19. It seems that Facebook strips out . chars from vanity URIs, so "gr.egh.ines" and "greg.hines" are the same as "greghines".
  20. Bah. Missed the Facebook land-grab and my first two choices are taken. Wondering if I should even bother at this point.
