  1. "Geppetto and Son" is a sassy take on the Pinocchio story, and Town Hall's production is professional quality and a ton of fun. Go see it!
  2. Helped out with a reading of the play "Kimberly Akimbo" with a fun bunch of DTG people. It's an odd show, but with some hilarious lines.
  3. Just got back from an SCA symposium for heralds and scribes. A smallish event, but there were some very good classes and a kick-ass feast.
  4. Yesterday we took my mom and sister Beth to Golden Corral for a very good Thanksgiving dinner. Tonight: "The Hallelujah Girls" at the DTG.
  5. Finished migrating my company's web sites to a new, automagically-configured server. A lot of work, but it'll pay dividends in the long run.
  6. About to see "The Jungle Book" by the Kettering Children's Theatre, directed by a friend of ours.
  7. Watching my friends in Fin Tan play the Dublin Pub. Fun time!
  8. "Back to the 80's" at Playhouse South last night was a lot of fun. Sure, the plot is cheesy and uneven, but most of the music was fantastic!
  9. @catherinedevlin: You should do a talk at the LUG on choosing and installing a netbook distro -- we had a request last night.
  10. Attended a memorial service for a friend and fellow computer geek who passed away suddenly at 44. Time to reflect a bit on life.
  11. Great time at the SCA event yesterday. Watched some good armored combat, jammed with other musicians (on recorder) and chatted with friends.
  12. Did a well-received demo of my first Drupal-based web site, made for the local SCA barony. It replaces a 13-year-old hand-coded HTML mess.
  13. Wow, "Man of La Mancha" at the Human Race last night was *so* incredibly good. There's a reason to see musicals done by professionals.
  14. At the Brookville Community Theatre to see "Marrying Terry". I hear the stage manager is fantastic! ;-)
  15. Kubuntu's version upgrades are still a bit rocky. Karmic borked my networking making assumptions about the interface. Easy fix, but still...
  16. The trick-or-treaters went through 10 1/2 bags of candy. But it was chilly out, so that might account for the light turnout this year. :-)
  17. I've successfully taught my company's new web server to install and configure itself. If that confuses you, you're not using FAI and Puppet.
  18. Headed for "Sunshine Boys" at the Guild followed by "Little Shop of Horrors" at Sinclair, and drinks at the Dublin Pub after. A fun evening!
  19. "The Dixie Swim Club" at Beavercreek is fabulous! Perfect casting, and a hilarious and touching script. Do you have your tickets yet?
  20. Last night we went to my 30-year reunion (Westerville South HS). Attendance could have been better, but we all had a great time.
