  1. There's a @github meetup in London tomorrow. In the Royal George, Soho. From 7pm. Please RT.
  2. Don't want to edit Nesta's code? No problem, drop replacement files or templates into ./local instead. http://is.gd/4VDbt (via @nestacms)
  3. 20 fantastic bike pics by round the world hard man and all round good egg @AlHumphreys http://bit.ly/4Ct5jQ (via @thebikeshow)
  4. @fullfrontalconf Nicely. Well I'm coming...
  5. @danwrong @chacon Count me in for a couple 'o jars 'n all.
  6. Just had my first session with an osteopath. Wow, should have done that sooner. #theytoldmeso
  7. @LordCope What's a nonfunctional requirement? And why is cucumber better than well written code? The extra layer of indirection is a smell.
  8. This may well be the worst code I've ever seen: http://pastebin.com/fd3bc020 (via @threedaymonk) -- check it out, it's superb
  9. ~@LordCope This sysadmin testing thing - I'm not really sure I get it. Certainly not the cucumber bit; who needs to read the cuc scenarios?
  10. RT @toolmantim: Awesome time-lapse vid showing @alexiasinclair doing > 20 hours of post-prod in photoshop http://bit.ly/3sSDfS -- beautiful
  11. Though I think they may have misunderstood my point slightly. It is, after all, easier to ask forgiveness than permission... :-(
  12. Wahey! Got a mention on Ruby 5... http://bit.ly/gPhsh
  13. @jc00ke That looks good to me. I forked it slightly -- if you have a foo? method on obj you can say `obj.should be_foo`. http://is.gd/4UJZN
  14. @jc00ke though rspec is fine when used in a sane manner (i.e. don't mock your own objects just 'cos you can, only do it when you must)
  15. @jc00ke shoulda gives the benefits of well labelled blocks and test cases without all the baggage of rspec. Macros are also great.
  16. OH “He's not out tonight. He's balls deep in clunge.”
  17. @jc00ke shoulda is a much better place to start, with factory_girl or blueprint
  18. @jc00ke no surprise, it's awesome, but beware rspec with rails - it encourages shocking mocking (ha!) practices...
  19. @delineator Nice one! Good name.
  20. RT @threedaymonk: Feeling the burning gaze of the Eye of SEOron. #amusing
