  1. @benhamill hmmm, that makes sense... i'll have to look into that.
  2. @benhamill btw, i'm trying to get people to use the google group so feel free to post anything there. http://bit.ly/2BRA3p
  3. @benhamill haven't used it on 1.9.1. the json dependency sounds likely. i'd appreciate your help figuring out what's up if you can.
  4. just added a Google group for discussion, questions and announcements. http://groups.google.com/gr...
  5. Should have been client.delete { username.lists.my_list } ...but you get the idea.
  6. Released 0.1.6 with general support for all HTTP methods, not just GET and POST e.g. client.delete{ lists.my_list }
  7. just moved to gemcutter & added support for the versioned API. Once gemcutter's in your sources, just sudo gem install grackle
  8. RT @hayesdavis for you @gracklerb users out there that want Twitter API versioning, here's how to do it right now: http://bit.ly/2nDuwu
  9. if you like grackle, you'll love @hayesdavis, @dustyreagan & @dacort's Twitter apps panel @ SXSW http://bit.ly/WIFc9. how about a thumbs up?
  10. to use new RTs API (when available): client.statuses.retweet! :id=>NNN client.statuses.home_timeline? client.statuses.retweets_of_me?
  11. @benhamill thanks... i felt like that really captured the essence of the grackle (the bird anyway). iridescent and kind of angry.
  12. RT @bdainton: I love that @gracklerb already supports the new Twitter Retweet API. [ he's right! :) ]
  13. oops, go grab v0.1.4 of the gem : ) - fixed a possible issue with trying to redirect on 3xx responses that don't have location headers.
  14. also, thanks to the @cotweet guys for their contributions to this update.
  15. maybe a little late, but grackle now handles 30x redirects correctly as requested by Twitter during the DDoS. get v0.1.3 of the gem.
  16. new saved search methods announced today: http://bit.ly/KoFkH - check it out w/grackle by calling client.saved_searches?
  17. heard this morning that @madsen's used grackle for his new @8Ball_ answerer bot. ask it something!
  18. congrats to @furioustoast on releasing Bonfire - http://bonfirenow.com - tweets + RSS into campfire (word is there's some grackle in there)
  19. @TestGrackle i do. it doesn't get printed out by irb when it does an inspect on the returned Grackle::TwitterStruct but a call to .id works.
  20. @sbtodd probably not. if you've ever seen one in person they're a little scary. like bad-tempered iridescent crows : )
