  1. @mmastrac re: WebGL spec secrecy -- I'm beginning to think the same way...
  2. @rickbehl I think so... but I need a new laptop first so that I've got something worthy of displaying them :-)
  3. @benvanik hey, thanks! I'll put that one in the next "around the net", looks really useful
  4. RT @super_eggbert: First demo of my new #webgl graphics engine, with skeletal animation and per pixel shading: http://bit.ly/7vJcDS
  5. @gx_saurav OK. I was picking up on your tweet that MS was "using DirectX libraries in IE 9 to render full 3d graphics in the browser itself"
  6. @rickbehl just an old exilim, I'm afraid...
  7. Just posted #WebGL lesson number 9: http://is.gd/54kdJ
  8. @rickbehl It sounds like it should be possible in theory if you can get enough bits per pixel and have a good enough CCD...
  9. @gx_saurav IE9 has no 3D gfx of any kind planned, WebGL or otherwise, and just uses Direct2D to GPUaccelerate rendering of regular web pages
  10. @siah +1
  11. @Marjoo get well soon!
  12. @voidspace and, perhaps more important, thanks to you for a kick-ass entry form -- we wouldn't have got as far as we did without that
  13. @voidspace me too. Glad that a large gov't-funded corp didn't beat us, though -- they were a worthy victor :-)
  14. @stshank BTW +1 for new tab behaviour. I find it infuriating to switch from Minefield (for WebGL testing) back to 3.5 purely because of tabs
  15. @nezmar Is the WebGL switch-off new in the Mac Chrome? I thought it was working, but as a PC person (with a Mac-loving wife) I can't tell
  16. @stshank are many people out there managing single-shot HDR photos with new SLRs and raw photos? If so I need to upgrade my camera...
  17. the winners did a wearable heart rate/breathing monitor, at imperial college - can't find a link but sound pretty cool. the swine ;-)
  18. *sigh* we didn't win, but at least we lost to a worthy competitor...
  19. @voidspace thanks! is your father here?
  20. at the IET awards ceremony... fingers crossed...
