  13. our climber has already been released from custody with no charges! but the gran couva didn't hang around, bolting as soon as it could.
  14. the anchor chain was occupied for just under 24 hours, but our climber is now being escorted to the police station.
  15. the anchor chain on the gran couva is being lowered to bring our climber in reach of the police boats, but he is shimmying back up
  16. harbour master has asked if our climber would kindly move to another ship so the gran couva can depart. it was due to leave about 1 hour ago
  17. the police are at the gran couva and our campaigner has gone to negotiate.
  18. overheard on the radio from the gran couva: "apart from greenpeace hanging from my anchor chain, i'm ready to sail."
  19. @greenpeaceuk night has fallen and the anchor chain is still occupied. the police came by late afternoon, but haven't been back since.
