  1. I always tweet at this late hour. Its why they come out like this. Made Ham Hock and Lentil soup today. Sorry, soup making is going on my cv
  2. My Son Harris has earned his first pay packet (he's 4). One pound coin per mouse caught. Might renegotiate, seems he's rather good at it.
  3. Just found a coconut by a hole in a fence. The hole was large enough for a squirrel, but not a coconut carrying squirrel. Elementary my etc.
  4. Just saw a squirrel run across the road. Nothing strange about that... It was carrying a coconut! It'll need a JCB to bury it.
  5. Started day off by eating nutella straight off the finger. Being a sunday, you just know that kind of piggery will last all day. And it did
  6. @ChrisGPackham Don't look. I'm following you. I'm right there. Don't turn around. Don't be scared, only know that I'll be following you...
  7. Watching a program about a big, one eyed yellow bear. He hangs out with Annie Lennox & Wogan. Do hope they know what he does in the woods?
  8. @WeeEth Right at the top. Not that you'd have known it through the mist.
  9. Remember the last Autumnwach of 2009 is on in five minutes. You get to see me freezing my maracas off up the cairngorms.
  10. Anyone see 'Peter Green: Man of the World' doc on BBC4 last week?Saw it last night, the man & the music were & still are utterly mesmerising
  11. Was back on the mountain this morning and bumped into a couple of reindeer (truth). Also a striped cat ran across the road. Possible Wildcat
  12. No tweet since my night up the mountain. Took a day to recover. Was a pretty uncomfortable experience. COLD! WET! Got Ptarmigan though.

  14. In a cold, slightly damp tent up on cairngorm. Who's idea was this? Oh yes, mine... Ptarmigan at first light hopefully.
  15. @hielandcoo Oh, you know, that age old story of Boy meets Sunpat. Heard a trail for your Jazz colaboration, when's it on? Hope all good.
  16. @SteveHughes1250 Quick trip next month, then again in Jan.
  17. Top Tip #2: Chapati's and peanut butter make a remarkably nutritious lunch time snack. The self flossing properties an added bonus.
  18. Top tip: Fresh chapati's are great for getting the majority of peanut butter residue out of chest hair. Methylated spirits does the rest.
  19. @DebyP Post a photo if you can. G
  20. No sign of deer, but I've stripped down to my long johns, lathered on the peanut butter. Let the feeding frenzy begin!
