  1. Ok. I have to settle this. Are there any challengers to Websphere's crown as the worst appserver of all time?
  2. Lock up your commas.... I just pushed opencsv 2.1 to a maven repo near you... http://opencsv.sourceforge....
  3. @epragt I have small kids. My main attraction is the large number of kids titles (and the gross motor skills / co-ordination)
  4. @pmcneil Nothing so far. I had issues with 1.2 m2
  5. Precompiled gsps have also been a big win for my permgen usage! Awesome release team!
  6. Grails 1.2 M4 is noticeably snappier! And suddenly the forwardURI works on Glassfish! The Gravl stats page finally displays popular entries!
  7. There is much talk in the Smith household about getting a Wii for Christmas. Boy those things are pricey by the time you add accessories.
  8. @wmacgyver Ahhh. That's what a mobi format is.... I'm so antipodean....
  9. osdc 2009 programme is final now! Heaps of groovy/grails action on Thursday when I'm in town! http://2009.osdc.com.au/pro...
  10. Cool site for comparing "best rate" rental car options in Oz... http://www.vroomvroomvroom....
  11. @wakaleo How are students handling the hg?
  12. @jeffscottbrown I guess you now appreciate the lengths us Aussies go to when we fly to Groovy events! it's a long flight, eh?
  13. My copy of Dave Klein's GQuick just arrived from the US. Looks like a ripper! Thanks @daveklein for the shout-out!
  14. New blog: After learning about svnsync, my google code projects are now converted to Mercurial :-) -- http://tinyurl.com/yj735sd
  15. @jadelus The difference? Documentation and decent IDE tooling for starters :-) Works through the client's firewall is #3. Otherwise nothing.
  16. @jeffscottbrown 40 is the new 20 dude. That means you can't even have a beer in some US states, right?
  17. @jadelus I do know that I find hg commandset easier to use than git.. but YMMV.
  18. @jadelus I think the right comparison would be bitbucket.org vs github.com... but I haven't had a chance to play with bitbucket yet.
  19. Converting my googlecode projects over to Mercurial. But hg convert is taking quite some time on remote repos. groovyblogs.hg coming soon!
  20. After being inspired by a great CJUG REST talk last week, I'm now reading: Restful Web Services (http://tinyurl.com/2g3bas)
