  3. I gather we had 30 runners on a snowy alternate course, for - perhaps - the first ever Scottish Xmas day run? Well done to our volunteers!!

  11. ok crisis over. Wasn't quite as bad as we thought, and all sorted out.

  13. Great festive event today with 108 runners. Thanks to our volunteers who helped ensure the course was very well signed and marshalled.
  14. Cold and frosty in Glasgow, but we're optimistic it'll all be good. Off to put up the signs and check the course in the winter gloom.
  15. Edinburgh parkrun unfortunately cancelled tomorrow.

  17. Some paths have been treated, so we'll also check with park managers if they're planning to treat the others.
  18. A few icy patches in a few spots (along the glade & behind the burrell), but if folk take care we should be ok. Will review in the morning.

  20. Saturday's event is all about Christmas bling. Dig out your santa outfits, santa hats, tinsel, or anything festive. Even just a red top!
