When I have restored, I'll export the table. I don't want to mess up the original db for 1 table. I can't post to Oracle-L yet.

I want 1 table from a RMAN cold backup. How can I restore with a diff DB name? If you can reply on Oracle-L that's good.

Fighting with my home computer. Symantec says, 'save acct info before re-install.' but part of the 'broken' is -account info wont open.Aargh
