  1. Merry Christmas to all our friends. We will be open Christmas eve until 2pm to give us time to set up for the big sale on Saturday.
  2. Ball winders and swifts back in stock. We're making cowls with Cascade Magnum. One ball and two hours to knit. Very cute- a perfect gift.

  8. Baby Alpaca Sport is the softest and warmest yarn on the planet. We made our favorite Anne Norling Head Hugger hat in a rich eggplant color.
  9. New hemp yarns back in stock. Our hem dishcloths in a jam jar are a great gift idea. Hemp is naturally anti-bacterial and easy on the earth
  10. Come and see the cute hat that Sarah made with our super bulky "Twinkle".It's insanely soft with a big button on the band.One ball makes 2.
  11. Back from Vancouver- the new store looks great! Still room to register in our new Friday night Beginner Knitting class with Sarah.

  13. Back from Vancouver helping Kristina set up her shop. It's looking great- should be open in about a week.
  14. New hand dyed Fleece Artist/Handmaiden just in.Cashmere toques, thrum mittens, silk wraps and lots of multi coloured wool roving. Gorgeous!
  15. Wool roving in lots of vibrant colours and naturals.New orange, just in time for Halloween. Great for needle felting and thrum knitting.
  16. Yarn, yarn and more yarn. We really have a lot of new yarn so we have put even more yarns on our sale wall to make room. Great bargains!
  17. Jared Flood's book, Made in Manhattan is back in stock. That book flies off the shelf! Also lots of new titles from Martingale Publishers.
  18. Beat the heat and hang out in our cool air conditioned shop. 32 today and it's late September! New yarns and books arriving every day.
  19. Sarah is teaching "Entrelac Knitting" today at 12.30. It's a beautiful scarf using self striping yarn. Still room to join- should be fun.
  20. Rainy and cold- perfect for knitting. New this week, lots of afghan and dishcloth yarns. "Art" yarn from Colinette- amazing multi colours!
