  1. @JasonFalls That terminology isn't from Apple.
  2. Full disclosure: I play guitar. Can't imagine trusting it to an airline, since their paperwork more or less promises to break it.
  3. United Breaks Guitars - Stated goal: 1M views in one year. Actual results: >148K views in first two days. Hot enough for you?
  4. Interesting angle on this one: a $3500 guitar owned by someone who demonstrably knows what to do with it.
  5. 'United Breaks Guitars" is a good song. Wonder if radio will pick it up? (Oops) Nice viral for the musician, too. http://bit.ly/Urqa4
  6. @kdpaine Need a new keyboard? Maybe an external kb for your laptop?
  7. Enjoyed watching my son's eyes light up as he figured out what I was showing him (12:34:56 7/8/9).
  8. @SethGrimes I have the impression that SAS is essentially a software toolbox, and Text Miner is one of the newer wrenches.
  9. Open-source social media intelligence: The Buzzmonitor returns as Tattler (app): http://bit.ly/rK2KK
  10. Wow. Just wow. My mom just friended me. It's not long ago that *I* was one of the old people on Facebook.
  11. @carolinabigblue Wonder how many people will think this is you (until they look closer, maybe)? http://bit.ly/45V5Z @remarkablogger
  12. Sketching out a superset of product features for social media analysis platforms. Interesting exercise.
  13. @Gennefer StFy is a great name, y'see, 'cause it's short for, uh... and people have used it since, uh... Hey, but it's trademarkable!
  14. @sonnygill All my active IM use moved to Skype, but Adium is good if you need the other platforms.
  15. OK, back to work. I think I have a project backlog around here somewhere.
  16. You can tell the Jacksons are show biz pros. Nobody made the mistake of trying to follow his daughter's heart-wrenching goodbye.
  17. This is so appropriate. And moving. If you don't see it, ask a musician. It doesn't matter if you're a MJ fan.
  18. Watching FB comments from people who don't seem to know that We Are the World always had lines sung by a bunch of different people.
  19. I think the CNN video delay is increasing. The FaceBook comments seem to be from farther in the future.
  20. If you were watching the MJ memorial, you wouldn't call it a circus. It's been quite a tribute, with multiple touching moments.
