  2. @Uberschizo "Shera Satyajit" & "Aaro Saytajit" are good starters if you know Bengali. Those are collections of his works.
  3. @cyberbuff It's not because of sparse translation. Many of the things (puns, wordplay) and simply untranslatable without changing the story.
  4. @gjoos The English versions are OK, but they are nowhere near the awesomeness of the canonical versions.

  6. @amitayre I say that, because I believe none can translate the works of Ray into any other language faithfully. It's impossible.
  7. It's a pity that only Bengali people know Satyajit Ray the author. He was an unbelievably gifted author. His works are fresh even today.
