  3. What has changed? If you are reading this, then you will notice Neighborhood Council#3 is keeping residents up to date in REAL TIME!
  4. What has changed? Take a drive around the Valley View, Riverview Neighborhoods and you will notice a the improvements. Enjoy!
  5. What has changed? Rivers Edge Trail Expansion on the North side of the Missouri River, New Bike trail is in the works by RiverView School.
  6. What has changed? One Way Alley to slow traffic, New housing units and condo's, New church, parking at Jaycee Pool, new businesses.
  7. What has change? Saved /Rebuild the Neighborhood Pools, New Playground Equipment in Parks, Wind Energy at C.M.R., New Sidewalks, 4 way stops
  8. KRTV has done a great job informing the public about the Neighborhood Councils. They even posted the council election results.
  9. Neighborhood Council District#3 will be a completely NEW council beginning January 2010. Richard Calsetta will now be representing District3
  10. Tim Austin (Chair), Debbie Clark, Gary Ferree, Robert Haensel, and Al Smith decided NOT to run again for another two (2) years.
  11. Tim Austin thanked the council members for their years of service and for representing the people who elected them.
  12. Other Business: Patty is going through and calling the write-in candidates for Neighborhood Council #3, working with Brad Parker.
  13. Other Business: Patty plans to have all the New Neighborhood Council Members selected by the next council meet: Jan 7, 2010.
  14. Other Business: Discussed the use of one of the Jaycee Tennis courts that been approved for use as an Inline Hockey court.
  15. Other Business: 33rd Traffic Report. Preferred alternative for a south access point to the proposed industrial area north of Great Falls.
  16. Other Business: GF Events: Christmas Stroll, Parade of Lights, First Friday Art Walk Downtown GF. Arts & Craft Show at the Westgate Mall.
  17. Other Business: Ad Council Scholarships are available for High School and College Students. For details contact Ad Council.
  18. Neighborhood Concerns: four (4) way stop (stop signs) at the corner of 8th Street NE & 25th Ave. NE. Need a solution for traffic by North MS
  19. Neighborhood Concerns: A resident contacted the Q.E.C. about concerns with the Smelter polution, huge flames and possible acid rain.
  20. Neighborhood Watch training is available for anyone interested in joining or starting a Neighborhood Watch in their neighborhood, call MAC.
