  1. RT @mrinaldesai: tip @techmeme "Barnes and Noble’s Nook Reader Fails to Live Up to Promises - NYTimes.com" ( http://bit.ly/7zIjQn ) by @ ...
  2. RT @jackshafer: "Paranoia means understand what's going on." Attributed to Stanley Kubrick.
  3. RT @BaldMan: Congrats to Austin-based @Gowalla who just raised $8.4 million. I can't wait to see what they do next. http://bit.ly/4SEMf0 ...
  4. @jbruin But for the moneymaking new releases, Redbox just commoditized what HW/BB have been building out infrastructure for years for.
  5. @jbruin Frankly I think that Redbox is Hollywood Video/Blockbuster's biggest nightmare more than anything. The gap is "old releases"...
  6. @jbruin Plus as I mentioned a bit ago for frequent DVD renters, it's nice to not get accosted with last minute "value adds" when renting.
  7. @jbruin I have a couple of times - the user experience is solid, and the price (and drop off anywhere convenience) are nice.
  8. @jbruin I think that all Redbox is doing is (psychologically) undercutting the video "box stores", and filling a gap that VOD can't yet.
  9. @jbruin Interesting article - I theorize that most Redbox rentals are kept for 2-3 nights, and that the $1 price is just a loss leader.
  10. @quine It wouldn't be the first time. Heck - just a typical conversation at the office will make @rsomers blush.
  11. @rsomers @davidbadash Is it click fraud if it happened by accident?
  12. For all my followers... If a tweet of mine doesn't make sense at first blush, reread with <sarcasm mode="on">. That'll usually clear it up.
  13. @alexhutton The docking station comment? Yeah. Sorta did that on purpose. //Wants two front teeth and no rats nest.
  14. RT @Teichy: Dance like the photo's not tagged, love like you've never been unfriended, tweet like nobody's following.
  15. @BIOSShadow well then that's just broken. :-)
  16. Sigh. Apple... You even sell the lack of it as an iMac feature. Why do you think MBP users love cable sprawl?
  17. If you're shopping for me this year, I want one of those sweet new Apple docking stations for my MBP.
  18. RT @LawyerLiz: Computer program to blackout text vs. using a sharpie marker = cost of software; massive TSA security fail putting pass. ...
  19. Like it or not, Twitter's revised RT functionality already appears to be making RT's more frequent (since the 140 char barrier isn't there).
  20. RT @fraserspeirs: I have a theory: if theming is in your 1.0, your priorities are not aligned with that of most Mac users. #chrome
