  1. @HitFixGregory SAG lists Evangeline Lilly as a nominee for Locker, that's a joke. Both in substance of character and quality of performance.
  2. @HitFixGregory I agree it shouldn't be a numbers game. But there are more than three people in the movie, just no depth beyond those three
  3. @HitFixGregory LOL, ok, fair enough. (Those awards make me distrustful of actors though, their TV picks are even worse.)
  4. @HitFixGregory Yeah, SAG use of ensemble cast award is my pet peeve. Won't back down on Locker there. Strong movie but loads of better casts
  5. @HitFixGregory In the category of Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture? Yes. SAG doesn't/shouldn't vote on "Best Picture"
  6. @HitFixGregory Since you asked, I'd kick out Freeman in Invictus for Damon in Informant, and Renner for Rockwell in Moon
  7. @JustinCChang @HitFixGregory I'd kick out both Nine & Hurt Locker for Up in Air, Star Trek, The Messenger, Single/Serious Man, Potter & more
  8. @JustinCChang @HitFixGregory Nine's "lazy" actors at least sang for their supper. Hurt Locker has no one of value beyond the three leads
  9. Really like Owen Gleiberman's take on Precious hitting a box office wall, but also kinda dig that it's a underdog again http://bit.ly/7P5XqB
  10. One more SAG complaint: Apparently 2009's great Matt Damon performance was in "Invictus" and not "The Informant!" Yeah, whatever.
  11. At least the excellent casts of Glee, Mad Men, True Blood, 30 Rock, Curb and Modern Family were recognized by SAG. Everything else...
  12. SAG's nomination for The Hurt Locker "ensemble cast" over Up in the Air is objectively idiotic, but otherwise film nominees better than TV
  13. @richardrushfield You liked Avatar! You've gone soft! But I admire your admission of defeat (and Titanic is still better)
  14. RT @denisemartin #GLEE's Ryan Murphy, Jane Lynch, Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison talk about their Golden Globe haul: http://bit.ly/66kqeP
  15. @zap2itjoseph And yes I loved Funny People, even if it was tankcity.com
  16. @zap2itjoseph Meryl will probably win the Oscar for Julie & Julia! Movie is meh but she's great. But yes when there's no one else it's Meryl
  17. My Top 10 movie films of 2009 (I like to share love, not hate) http://bit.ly/7ObYYR
  18. Simple. Perfect. RT @LAeditor I despise Joe Lieberman.
  19. @zap2itjoseph Sorry Joseph, bad year for film comedy actresses, it's not like they were gonna vote Aniston for Management or Love Happens ha
  20. @JustinCChang Tucci will benefit from being the "best" thing about a bad movie. If he's nominated for anything it should be Julie & Julia
