  1. @calaggie Corrected. Thanks for pointing it out. I wrote it hastily to get back to the game!
  2. Playing four hours of Chrono Trigger has inspired an entire article about how gaming got me into anime. http://is.gd/5gBsW
  3. @elliotreed no you can't move them in battle. I mean in the overworld and in the exploration sections. I hear there is also a new ending.
  4. @elliotreed Oh there is one nice enhancement--the bottom touchscreen becomes a map much of the time. Very handy.
  5. @elliotreed mostly in menu selection and you can move the characters with it. But otherwise it's identical to the original, as it should be!
  6. @elliotreed It's pretty much exactly the same--the controls on the DS are identical to the SNES after all. You can do a few stylus things
  7. Just played 3 hours of Chrono Trigger on my DS. Ahh, nostalgia. And Akira Toriyama.
  8. Made the wording of the poll a little more precise. We're looking for how you got to the page at the moment, not on your first ever visit.
  9. @animemiz Yup, it's that poll. It's trying to gauge how people got to the page at that moment, not where you first heard of it...
  10. There's a new poll on Anime Diet. I announce this b/c your feedback on it will help us in our redesign process! http://animediet.net
  11. @electricv01 Bird by bird, buddy. Just take it bird by bird. http://is.gd/5fcCI
  12. Once again a Twitter discussion becomes the basis for an article, this time on Kazehaya, Sawako, and innocence. http://is.gd/5dPqw
  13. @hisuiRT that makes sense. though they are running out of episodes if it's only one season...
  14. Kimi ni Todoke 9: wow. She is really being set up for a major fall, isn't she? Hope this doesn't turn into "Carrie" later on...
  15. @hisuiRT But portraying goodness in a way that's not cloying or obnoxious is tough in fiction in general. I'm still waiting to see his flaws
  16. @hisuiRT Heh. Well the thing is Kazehaya's goodness is saintly, uncomplicated. One could argue that's not so realistic.
  17. I think I figured it out: Kazehaya in Kimi no Todoke is not merely nice. He's _good_. Sawako is attracted to his goodness above all else.
  18. For those who haven't heard--I now have a personal, non-anime Twitter account at @huangm777. Check it out! It's pretty active lately.
  19. A Japanese commenter posted a real live 2ch style ASCII pic. As editor of Anime Diet, I feel validated. http://is.gd/56wWa
  20. I have a Twitter account for my non-anime life now, @huangm777. Follow me there if you dare!
