  1. Heading out to Canfield for a party. Starting to look like rain around here…
  2. Working on a test vector art illustration for a Positively Cleveland magazine article—the Palace Theater @ Playhouse Square.
  3. Re-tagged my iTunes music & Smart Playlists updated; old riffs I recorded showing up in my random playlist, some cool stuff I forgot about.
  4. New blog post: Create A Photoshop Tool Preset for Custom Text http://www.gomediazine.com/... (via @Go_Media)
  5. Just got a voicemail that was nothing but a snippet of an Enya song in the background. From a 1-800 number.
  6. Ugh, got sideswiped by some kind of cold/flu/allergy/alien abduction thing today. Feeling like crap & knocked out. Need to go lay back down.
  7. @Atomos Haven't been to the site since the redesign, looks awesome. New art looking great as always.
  8. Still waiting on WP 2.8.1 to upgrade to 2.8, after some of the stories I've read. 2.7 runs well enough for me, for now.
  9. @frenden Yeah, I use TM for file f-ups, and clone/mirror in case of binary apocalypse.
  10. @Southworth Hey now, I posted a link to TV Tropes a couple of weeks ago. Awesome, isn't it?
  11. @simonhartmann I picked up 2 of these: http://tr.im/qyij 750 GB WD My Book Home for $110, free shipping.
  12. @simonhartmann di? Not sure what that means…
  13. @frenden I use TM + 2 redundant, staggered (daily/weekly) backups for both boot drive & work drive. I've had drives fail, so I'm paranoid.
  14. Star Wars: 1983 vs. 2005 http://bit.ly/137ipE (via @Ronniger)
  15. @Ronniger re: 1983 vs. 2005—exactly.
  16. Tough to truly appreciate Star Wars nowadays without keeping in mind that the FX teams *invented* most of the cool stuff you're seeing.
  17. Had to get some new external drives, turns out pre-made was cheaper than DIY this time.
  18. The BBQ FAQ—nerdilicious: http://bit.ly/Gtlis
  19. @frenden Yikes, I hope you run daily backups…
  20. Writing a primer for disc golf for @20seven in waaaaay too much detail :)
