Just started watching some of the BBC series Paradox, and surprisingly, it's actually rather exciting.

Prepared to forgive Volition, Inc. for how bad Red Faction II was, considering how great Red Faction: Guerrilla has been.

Watched an interesting documentary about Vladimir Nabokov, of "Lolita" fame. Seems he was an avid collector of rare butterflies.

Finished Red Faction II. Stupid, short, ugly and pointless excuse for a game. I'm glad I never have to play it ever again.

Finished the original Red Faction. Uninstalled it and have zero interest to ever play it again, very much like Half-Life: Blue Shift.

@ GFWL is rubbish generally. It was such a hassle to download Fallout 3 DLC through it. They wanted to copy Steam but it didn't work.

Essays submitted. Onward it's all about the dissertation, but there will be time for that later. For now, a brief respite.
