  1. looking at 40 days work to do in June #fb
  2. I am very very tired of having to de-select insurance when booking @FlyAirNZ particularly when booking fully flexible fares
  3. @tweetbot seems very slow sending tweets ~ sometimes times out & sometimes then says not sent, but has
  4. @svs was very intrigued to see the Concierge email from Flow
  5. can't wait to get away to the beach for the long weekend #fb
  6. @NewWorld_Thordn brilliant, thanks (re Lagunitas Little Sumpin being in stock) (attn @colinsander)
  7. @collabguy likewise #PlaneNerds
  8. @roddrury "I'll come back to you" #PlainEnglish
  9. Great to catch up with @svs and to also see @WasPhantom
  10. @MiramarMike so in a constrained resources world it is worth moving some funding from reducing class size to increasing teacher competence
  11. @MiramarMike the data indicates a significantly stronger correlation between teacher competence & student success than with class size
  12. @che_tibby universaliity difficult to change due to NZ culture, but age + amount can be changed with notice, we just need to get on with it
  13. @che_tibby my point is while baby boomers extend the issue now, all elements (age+amount+universality) make it unsustainable long term
  14. @che_tibby agree
  15. @che_tibby baby boomers are already retiring e.g. my Mum born 1945 ... 1945 + 65 years = 2010
  16. @che_tibby that's the present/imminent issue that needs to be addressed, but ongoing life expectancy growth is the enduring challenge
  17. @che_tibby but that would probably mean making Kiwi Saver (or something like it) compulsory (with a notice period to allow people to adjust)
  18. @che_tibby and at some point the amount of Nat Super should probably drop below 65% of average wage, particularly as Kiwi Saver funds grow
