  5. Nov figs poached in Provence thyme and red wine reduction with a glorious room temperature paillot de chevre from Nancy's Cheese on Dupont
  6. with October braised Rain River elk (wapiti) country sausages (the pot lid stuck to the frying pan and we had such fun unstucking it!)
  7. July&August my friend brought BBQ guacamole and fiesta cornbread with hot red peppers, onions and okra, September bubble&squeak merged
  8. gave up on chunks of dill-poached cod in Polish sauce wrapped in Savoy cabbage leaves, June baked orange&green pepper goat cheese 'canapes'
  9. egg quarters with tuna,gherkins&crunchy mustard, April sunflower oil rye bruschetta with tzatziki (overdid the garlic!), missed May
  10. Did a tapas calendar for my friend's bday:Jan tiny cups of lambswool,Feb fried Korean riceballs with kimchi and baked pork, March devilled
  11. Also a basketful of honeycrisp - but that was a personal indulgence, and they cost almost twice as much as russets, phew.
  12. Bought TONS of Ontario russets for this Christmas cooking event http://museumofchildhood.blogspot.com/ I do hope for a good turnout on Nov29
  13. #recipeaday:Georgian (Caucasus,not US) style broiled lamb chops with chopped onion,coriander,pomegranate seeds (add balsamic if too sweet).

  15. Thinking where to get Ontario baking russet apples for hot&spicy lamb's wool punch. Any ideas?
