  1. Devon Sproule's "Dress Sharp, Play Well, Be Modest" is my current favourite song. She's just really good in general, highly recommended!
  2. Also want to complete a thought on Sami sexuality & humour, but it's not coming [sic!] out right. I'm the wrong person for doing [sic!] it:/
  3. Wondering how to write things & say "give me $$ so I can sit at home & write a book, plz?" (I have.. non-fiction Thoughts. Blame my father.)
  4. Og @Buktafestivalen burde forsåvidt booke The Whispertown 2000 også, og Norma Sass. (æ vet ikke, æ bare kom til å tenke på sånt.)
  5. Syns @Buktafestivalen burde booke @amandapalmer til neste år. Og Josh Ritter! Og Kathleen Edwards! Og Gillian Welch! Det hadde gleda mæ:)
  6. Bus in Levajok, 15 min break and then I'm only an hour & 15 min's away from Tana bru. Home ♥
  7. There's a lady on the bus going to Kariel, that's my favourite placename, always has been. It's so strange for Finnmark.
  8. Woo, the bus is in Lakselv and I'll be home in five hours or so. The day is dreary but that's ok. (I feel undefinably weird today.)
  9. (I like twitter like that: really abstract big thoughts in less than 140 characters. There's a beauty to the brevity.)
  10. Downside to being Sami: not enough fancy family history [in jewelry etc], but still: I like my history as is.
  11. Have packed bag. One side extra-heavy due to semi-large amount of (thankfully: small) stones. These things happen.
  12. Kjære Sagat, Christina Henriksen kan ikke skrive rett, dokker burde korrekturlese ho bedre. (E Sagat på twitter?)
  13. You know you're tired of work when a six-hour busride seems like a relaxing pause. (usual work is fun, this kind is harder)
  14. @solstikk Dem flytta til Oslo, så klart.
  15. A tour guide just told me "but that's a pretty face you have there;" I adore compliments that sound absurd without context.
  16. Hver gang folk spør "halla bat du(nno/diet) nieida samegiela?" like æ å svare "diedusge." Koffor ikke, liksom?
  17. Hah, munnje bodi odda koseri-jurda! Jahkan sahtta leat buorre ve. Ja sahtta saddat dudevas guldaleaddji maid:)
  18. Tre av mine svake punkt: laksefiskera, motorsyklista og akademikera. Sølvsmia e klart best på de to første.
  19. It might be Stockholm syndrome when I begin liking the tourists. (nah, they're mostly nice. Bad shoppers, good people.)
  20. Kjære teite menneska, Juhls eie ikke hver eneste sølvsmie i hele Finnmark; kor dum e dokker egentlig? Hilsen ilter sølvsmiearbeider.
