  1. @Lelonopo You have pygmy goats? That's so awesome! Do you get milk from them?
  2. Finally cooled down here. I don't need 90+ heat thanks.
  3. @Arcadia1 Seriously, that should be a crime that gets jail time!
  4. @Arcadia1 Oh no! I didn't want to hear about that. So sad. :(
  5. @LifeOnTheBlcny Or other things. Hydroponics always makes me think of one particular crop.
  6. @JapaneseGardens I could never grow bonsai. Too much care required. Too fiddly. (But beautiful in other people's gardens or homes.)
  7. @insideredstudio I don't miss summers in Sacramento. Maybe you could plant natives on a green roof and they would go dormant by August?
  8. Anyone ever grown any vegetables on a patio or balcony? Herbs are growing well, but vegetables, it's just too shady. http://is.gd/2067S
  9. @samuelrutldge I love ducks! They are so cute. Maybe that's why I came to UO?
  10. Straightened up my patio garden yesterday. Getting a few strawberries. Daylily is about to bloom!
  11. @compostman Will you tweet pictures of your duck family? Pleeeease?
  12. @yougrowgirl Oh my god! I have never seen babies of those before. :)
  13. @thegerminatrix I loved watching "Ground Force" on the BBC. Those people seemed real (not plastic) and they enjoyed what they were doing.
  14. @amygrisak Sorry about the migraine. Chewing on a fresh feverfew leaf seemed to help my last one. Tasted poisonous though. So bitter!
  15. chewing on some feverfew leaves, hoping my migraine will go away.
  16. Can ladybug nymphs eat whiteflies? Or only aphids?
  17. Just found a baby ladybug (nymph) crawling on my students' papers. Weird, I haven't been out to the patio garden all day!
  18. @containergarden I wouldn't recommend it. Corn needs a lot of space. You can have trouble with good pollination even with small patches.
  19. @GWConfidence What kind of wine goes with pie?
  20. @LAFarmGirl Oh no! That's horrible. I'm kind of glad I got out of CA.
