  1. @samuelrutldge I love ducks! They are so cute. Maybe that's why I came to UO?
  2. Straightened up my patio garden yesterday. Getting a few strawberries. Daylily is about to bloom!
  3. @compostman Will you tweet pictures of your duck family? Pleeeease?
  4. @yougrowgirl Oh my god! I have never seen babies of those before. :)
  5. @thegerminatrix I loved watching "Ground Force" on the BBC. Those people seemed real (not plastic) and they enjoyed what they were doing.
  6. @amygrisak Sorry about the migraine. Chewing on a fresh feverfew leaf seemed to help my last one. Tasted poisonous though. So bitter!
  7. chewing on some feverfew leaves, hoping my migraine will go away.
  8. Can ladybug nymphs eat whiteflies? Or only aphids?
  9. Just found a baby ladybug (nymph) crawling on my students' papers. Weird, I haven't been out to the patio garden all day!
  10. @containergarden I wouldn't recommend it. Corn needs a lot of space. You can have trouble with good pollination even with small patches.
  11. @GWConfidence What kind of wine goes with pie?
  12. @LAFarmGirl Oh no! That's horrible. I'm kind of glad I got out of CA.
  13. Garden looking good. Harvested baby mustard greens and green onions. Wish I had more time to weed.
  14. @Suburban_Farmer Do you recommend veggies the provide bulk or veggies that would be expensive to buy? Or both?
  15. @hyperlocavore That's not surprising. Chimps can't write, they need to remember. Modern humans are lazy and distracted.
  16. First harvest from my new garden. A big bag of tiny wild arugula leaves. I planted the seed thick, since it was old. Now it's everywhere.
  17. @anneheathen Oh no! Judging librarians, a childhood fear.
  18. On Climate Change and Gardening: http://is.gd/uB8H Phenology- the study of plant and animal life cycle events and variations in climate.
  19. @metrofarming Last week I twisted my knee turning all the compost piles! I feel for you.
  20. @gardengates I'm glad to be away from Cal this year. Last summer's fires and smoke were enough for me. Now this drought...
