  1. Okay so Ubertwitter is a far superior ap to Twitterberry. Thank you @wilw
  2. @edborden If it doesn't make money (i.e. the marketing team fault in your example), it doesn't make money. So there's no bonuses.
  3. @edborden In the end, nobody worked on the game harder or longer than the game dev team. If there's a profit, they deserve some.
  4. @edborden It's easy: Was it profitable? Pay a bonus on the profits. We don't make games for good review scores. We make games to make $$$.
  5. @edborden My argument (and your original one) is that execs know they're wrong, and I take issue with them exploiting the system.
  6. @rkhoo I understand a lot of the MMA/UFC guys train together.
  7. @edborden Then consider one angry false 40 pt score can drag your game average below the royalty point, and you can begin to see the problem
  8. @edborden Because bonuses can be held due to scores, and scores didn't hurt Kane&Lynch or Enter the Matrix sales, for one thing.
  9. Okay, Virtual Shackles puts their finger on what's been bothering me about Bioshock 2 this whole time: http://www.virtualshackles....
  10. It's like trying to re-learn how to play SF II with a keyboard. OH wait, it's exactly that. http://bit.ly/1959oY
  11. @bbrathwaite I really only play the DnD Tiny Adventures, and that's because you don't have to do much to manage them (and I miss DnD night).
  12. @kingthor Read a book on Tesla about 5 yrs ago. Am convinced if he got that stuff working he'd be the greatest steampunk villain of all time
  13. @bbrathwaite I get it :). I went through a similar iterative do-over on the CCG I'm doing. Love MKW tweets as it is familiar process to me.
  14. @bbrathwaite Sorry to hear you had to go back in a sense, but I love a clarifying failure in the design process. Scary, but good.
  15. And even then, there's nothing to stop you from just following them (god knows why you'd want to). #legalfail Walmart.
  16. Oh dear god. Only Wal-Mart would make someone agree to a 3000 word document to follow them on Twitter. http://walmartstores.com/Tw...
  17. @bbrathwaite So are you saying that you don't need to go back to step one? Choices are there but players elect not to use them currently?
  18. Sometimes I think the only reasons I keep ads on the site is for the occassion when something I respect advertises. Monkey Island WOOOOO.
  19. "We have a half a tank of gas, it's a long way to Chicago, it's dark out, and wtf I can't see a thing with these on." #1stdraftmovielines
  20. "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a rat's ass." #1stdraftmovielines
