  1. The comment threads on USA Today news articles reveal people as complete and total idiots. They're painful to read, but strangely addictive.
  2. @MrVilhauer Let me say this: I took some formal Excel training 10 years ago. One of the most useful classes I've ever taken.
  3. Amadeus Wolfgang Mozart is an anagram of "A Famous German Waltz God." Thanks Reddit.
  4. I wrote a Web crawler in a couple hours, using C# and HtmlAgilityPack. Fun little project. Let me know if you have any use for it.
  5. I feel like Sharepoint is going to become its own OS someday. A groupware OS?
  6. If you like the Indiana Jones show at Disney World, and you go to the right conference, you can have dinner in it. http://bit.ly/16l4NU
  7. In Web development, this is a phrase you absolutely need to know. http://bit.ly/358BMC
  8. I figured out why I hate it when people connect Facebook and Twitter.: Twitter turds. Everything's all RT this, # that, @ etc.
  9. I just used offline GMail on a flight from Orlando. Worked beautifully. Like a charm.
  10. @sggottlieb I really enjoyed that article. I need to ask Blend what it is everyone thinks we do. I hope I get consistent answers...
  11. @ektrondave The way I hear it, you're not much better, Scalera.
  12. If you meet two guys from Ektron named Crombie and Maffei at a bar, turn and run the other way. I've heard some stories tonight....
  13. Ektron has a pretty good idea here: free 30-minute consults with the core team. You pick the specialty, and they'll sit down. Neat idea.
  14. Someone just put up a 20-foot slide in front of 300 people with an image that had a stock photo site watermark on it. Seriously.
  15. Props to Ektron for good wireless at their conference. Blogged about that the other day: http://bit.ly/41ebZF
  16. Nine simultaneous games of Tetris can be pretty mesmerizing. http://bit.ly/P68ap
  17. Seriously, how can Disney's flagship report not have wifi in the room? All I have is a 3-foot CAT5 cable and a really uncomfortable chair.
  18. At Disney for Ektron's conference. Internet access from the room is crap. Hard-wired crap, even.
  19. United (or O'Hare, likely) is slowing removing all their power outlets from the gates. The ones I remember are gone now. Bummer.
  20. The guy next to me at O'Hare has TurboRisk on his netbook. 60 seconds and one Flash drive later, so do I. http://bit.ly/1jasFg
