  1. Islanders favourite greeting: "Thanks for coming!" 5000 cheered for the Olympic torch and Canada in Charlottetown.
  2. http://twitpic.com/qepwg - In PEI, wasn't surprised that Sir John A. is both enthusiastic & excited about Canada's next Olympics in 2010.
  3. 1,000s in Halifax welcomed the torch. (7,000 in Truro too). The flame has turned the corner and is coming west.
  4. Beautiful day in Halifax and Olympic fever is touching down throughout Nova Scotia. Can't wait for tonight.
  5. Prince Charles @ Olympic Village. Rainy, wet, great hospitality again! Sustainability model to be proud of. Congrats Van City Council.
  6. The Prince of Wales & the Duchess of Cornwall felt the Warmth of Victoria hospitality today! It made up for November weather.
  7. Chemainus torch celebration showed great community spirit that gave added life to the Olympic ideal from the "Little Town That Did".
  8. Cowichan Tribes & Duncan did a great job for Torch Relay Celebration. You've gotta be here to catch the spirit & feel the flame's magic.
  9. Music & excitement at the Legislature. Great day for BC & Canada. People made day 1 of the torch relay truly memorable.
  10. Rowers one generation of gold medalists for Canada passed the torch to the next generation of Olympic medalists at Elk Lake.
  11. Torch touched down and was greeted by thousands. Darlene Poole was great but thousands and thousands celebrated.
  12. Within hours of Vancouver's Olympic flame being lit, Jack Poole passed away after a long fight with cancer. We will miss him.
  13. Lighting the flame for 2010 was momentous! After 2.5 minutes the sun ignited the flame @ 12:39pm in Olympia. And so it begins!
  14. The Today Show was great! Crowd was enthusiastic - started singing O Canada. Gave out red mittens & told them "golds" are coming to Canada.
  15. At the Global Climate Summit - Harrison Ford asked us all to join #TeamEarth. I'm in. Gov. Schwarzenegger did a great call to action!
  16. Great news from feds - $130 million to Hwy 37 powerline! Means clean energy for the NW, investment, and jobs.
  17. Order of BC again reminded me of the talented and dedicated people who live here. LG could not have been more gracious.
  18. Maggy Mae sang Oh Canada and the Stars Spangled Banner. She was exceptional. Terrace has talent - not just Hockeyville. Congrats to Maggie.
  19. Willie Mitchell & Jeff Tambellini couldn't have been better at Thornhill Elementary School. The Hockeyville celebration continues!
  20. Arrived in Hockeyville. As Canucks get ready for the season, Terrace is ready for the Canucks. Great day for everyone.
