  1. Feel somewhat vindicated about listening to the kings of leon's "use somebody" on repeat now that they're nominated for 3 grammys.
  2. @mightymendoza that's what a hook is supposed to do! Congrats to Brit for a crack team.
  3. I want to just keep listening to the new killers on repeat, but I switched over to the new kings of leon. Had listened but not absorbed.
  4. Look, I'm not going to lie. Some days you just have to listen to the Les Miserables 10th Anniversary Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
  5. Switched from The Killers leak on repeat to the Bloc Party leak. Impression: sharp but familiar. This is almost Silent Alarm: outtakes.
  6. Am completely sold on the new Killers album.
  7. @great_northern where will we be able to see the video?
  8. Looks like I left my iPod in a friend's car. Went back to a - gasp - cd! Brian Wright & The Waco Tragedies, Dog Ears. Magnificent.
  9. Ok, I was wrong. I've made my way through The Black Keys' recent back catalogue, but I can't move on from *thickfreakness.* Epic, still.
  10. And featured an appearance by Alex from Phantom Planet! Tonight will be The Black Keys' Magic Potion. I can move on from thickfreakness.
  11. No new album today, just a re-listen to the Hush Sounds' Goodbye Blues. Their show last Saturday at the Palladium was killer.
  12. This morning, sadly, I did not listen to anything new, just My Chemical Romance b-sides. Am will g to take suggestions for this afternoon!
  13. On stage, Ludo are a direct mix of FOB and TMBG. Crazy / weird / awesome.
  14. Last night's commute home was the nest of Ludo. Seeing them to ight, yay!! Tonight is Arcade Fire, Funeral. This morning was just shuffle.
  15. Today I'm getting around to Aqualung's Strange and Beautiful, which I've had for years. Nicely chill and ambient, would pair with Notwist.
  16. Yesterday was the epy Japanese Motors album. Loved some tracks, a few felt too long, or possibly too surfy for the moment.
  17. Today's was The Sounds' Living in America. Seriously love this, had never just listened all the way through. Need to upload "Mine for Life"
  18. In honor or my new job I'm going to try to listen to a new album every day. -Megan
  19. Starbucks' "Birth of Glam" collection includes Mika. MIKA!! What the hell is that?
  20. Panic at the Disco is the first show I've seen without a fake encore since Adele Bethel of S&D growled "We don't do fucking fake encores."
