futive

  1. The frisson of awkwardness passing two people having a teary argument in the street. Wonder if there's an online equivalent
  2. My pc has properly died one day before a long-overdue full drive backup. And this was going to be such a nice weekend.
  3. "Trilemma": neologism from Dorella tonight on first sight of dessert options (mousse, ice cream, chocolate)
  4. First tweet from the new iPhone. I'll use it to lament a crap performance from the Swans
  5. I'm getting mysterious audio alerts every few minutes... a lovely chime. But it's not new tweets, or emails, or skype... what is it??
  6. RT @cliveshepherd: If ... http://tinyurl.com/c3oycm
  7. Curse my runner's knee.
  8. A pleasing design aside: RT @Geletka: I wish I could afford mathmatica - http://tinyurl.com/crt6lt
  9. @Laurencejohn1 See here: http://is.gd/m05j though I've never been able to get the 'subscribe' link to work on that site
  10. @Laurencejohn1 No stream I'm afraid. I heard about it through a friend who's on the mailing list of the Cambridge branch of the UPA
  11. Back from an interesting evening at Microsoft Research facility in Cambridge, UK - Ben Shneiderman talking about information visualisation
  12. @Sophie1968 hmmm... my very small handful of dm's are still here... or at least they're showing on the twitter client I use (twhirl)
  13. Chemical Brothers sustaining the overnight wireframing frenzy. Hey boy. Hey girl. Superstar DJ. On the caffeine drip.
  14. @rhjr @jmspool Great podcast - the 5 years question is something that's going to help me tease out a strategic ux issue right now
  15. @briandigital Last time I forgot to switch Skype on people began to worry I was dead. Slightly disconcerting.
  16. @jeroenvangeel On the Wireframes site, thanks for posting that link, I'm loving this site!
  17. MS Gazelle - just can't get excited about a promise of 'stronger security... with acceptable performance' http://is.gd/kHA1
  18. @daveIxD @ebacon The context-of-use info in a scenario delivers the magic. Personas aren't part of 'prototyping' for the client in this way
  19. @daveIxD @ebacon I've occasionally written a scenario that induces the 'I geddit!!' moment in a client where all other 'prototypes' failed
  20. will be interesting if/when the perfect storm hits one day
