  2. Someone touted the benefits of MS Expressions to me today. They almost had me interested until they said "it's even better than frontpage!"
  3. PDF rendering on the kindle seems good. Text can be small as you would expect, but they have solved this by allowing you to rotate the view.
  4. Hooray, Kindle software has just been updated and includes, wait for it....native pdf support! Amazon, I love you!!!!---Not literally;-)

  9. My stomach just made a noise like a howling dog!
  10. @ashdonaldson That is where I think you are after a different device. If you want to look at images a text reader isn't suitable.
  11. @ashdonaldson Most of my tech books use the sidebar notes approach and conversion to kindle format just screws that up.
  12. @ashdonaldson I don't find lack of colour a problem in text books. I do find the lack of PDF support a pain though.
  13. @sophistifunk I'm with you on all those. Getting used to holding it but no native PDF support is something they have to fix.
  14. A kindle is a book (text) reader, so colour really takes it away from it's core purpose and more towards a tablet pc. Your thoughts?
  15. I've been thinking about the kindle and the push for a colour screen. That would be great, but would it make it a different class of device?
  16. Glimmer us good for larger banners btw, but needs a lot of css work with anything a bit smaller.
  17. Sorting out a new site today for a local air conditioning company. Coming together nicely now. Am using glimmer to create jquery banners.
  18. @CameronCollie These were eggs from the hens we share with our neighbours. They were so fresh from the bottom they were still warm!
  19. Just had bacon and eggs for lunch with eggs straight out of the hens bottom. Have to say that I really couldn't tell the difference.
  20. @morontown Yes I seem to be getting bombarded by spammers at the moment.
