  1. @negot8or Always look forward to your thoughtful reasoning--set us all straight here, please.
  2. @ColinBartram Well that may be true, but there are two parties to any software license agreement (the licensor and licensee)
  3. @negot8or I think a lot of companies don't have someone like you working for them. So they do bad stuff.
  4. @negot8or Lawsuit either from software vendor, or BSA on behalf of vendor?
  5. @negot8or I would agree though, that if you've done nothing wrong, ignore
  6. @negot8or @ejtweet I suppose companies respond because they done something wrong and want to avoid lawsuit.
  7. @negot8or Agreed, I think that's why @ejtweet referred to it as an "offer" (in lieu of a lawsuit)
  8. @ejtweet Ah, so it's not a "right," it's an "offer." Interesting. Wonder if the expert @negot8or would agree?
  9. Finally converted wife's computer from IE to Firefox. Tired of the constant malware/nagware attacks, even with extensive AV in place
  10. Gr8 question! RT @negot8or: How does SPA have authority to audit sfw license use? In 1000s of licenses I've never given them that right
  11. Heading off for Saturday golf round with the Mexican and the Peruvian.
  12. Not a good choice if you're a sleep-walker RT @olivermarks @jlist: The most awesome room in the world http://twitpic.com/ohacy

  14. Which is the PB? RT @twailgum: iPhone & ERP Go Together Like PB & Jelly http://bit.ly/4zmdOv CIO.com (thx @abbielundberg @fscavo)
  15. @merv Also, I think bigger flu problem in planes is the "touch surfaces" (e.g. arm rests, seat backs, restroom door latches etc.)
  16. @merv Yes, actually, I was surprised to learn that aircraft completely exchange air many times more often than office buildings do
  17. Woah! Finally a home for i2! RT @dahowlett: JDA & i2 merge $396 mill. Good to see i2 put out of pain. Nice win for JDA
  18. @debbiejbrown haha. You are very kind.
  19. @merv Actually, aircraft HEPA systems capture 99% of airborne microbes, w/complete air change every 2-4 mins http://is.gd/4ORA5
  20. More good news RT @mesimos: 08Q4 One state had positive growth, in 09Q1 NO states had pos growth, now 09Q2 25 states have pos growth
