  1. Wow, everyone is being very nice to me on a bummer of a day. Thanks to all of you. Hope I can return the favour some time.
  2. @glaforge Thank you, Guilaume. I do exist, I know. I'm just feeling a little bummed out. But twitterers are making me feel better ;)
  3. Alcohol disagrees with me (srsly), but I wish it didn't coz I feel like getting blasted!
  4. @richardtweiser Oh dear. I think I'm a bit too bummed to take that to heart! But thanks...
  5. Warning you'd best ignore most of my tweets today. I'm just waiting to hear whether my dream job is a go or not. In limbo feeling powerless.
  6. The actual truth is I'm just waiting for my copy of Dragon Age Origins to be delivered so I can disappear into fantasy land for a few days.
  7. Ok, so I'm using lists just to separate the news bots and such from real live people.
  8. @richardtweiser You mean... like today? ;)
  9. Starting to feel like I don't exist.
  10. Is anyone using this Twitter lists feature? I suppose it's cool for power-users, but seems like on more doo-dad to complicate my life.
  11. Government bureaucracy is *really* making me angry.
  12. Waiting for something (good) to happen.
  13. Debugging under the gun. Coffee not having desired effect this morning.
  14. @tamera :-( Try taking a walk. I find it helps sometimes, especially with writer's block.
  15. Got a lot of city miles to travel today. Urgh. Preparing myself for the slog.
  16. @leighh LOL. That's great. Tasha always hurts *me* when she plays. Dogs r weird. You should kill the sound, no one wants to hear Peter!
  17. @leighh There's a very geeky joke in there, but I'll spare you...
  18. God I *hate* Windows. Why can't I get Log4J to work on Windows, eh? Why? Mac, *nix, no problem; Windows, no way. Feeling mean.
  19. @dehora Yeah, might as well because progress on a proposal like this will take years. [yawn] The web *will* be symmetric. Eventually.
  20. @LeahRosin It's private clouds or nothing for a lot of ppl. Bioinformatics folks are the same: can't put some parts of the data outside.
