must remember to remove shoes before going on the boat. There's enough bird doodoo and tree debris without tracking the garden in too.

This morning I'm planting peas and spinach (late!) At lunch I'll sit on the after-deck and enjoy the view of the garden and fields beyond.
We named the boat tonight. Broke a plastic bag of boxed California white across her bow and dubbed her the "Sand Witch."
hauling a cooler into the cabin of the Sand Witch. May sleep in her overnight.
rick rolled by StephenTColbert... should have known
Boat crushed a perennial bed. RIP fritillaries. Beth is not pleased. I thought storing it on the east end of the barn made sense. FAIL
oops, found out that when I crank up the 30 watt Raytheon 430 fog horns I scare the neighbor's horses. Going easy on that for a while.
@bmo reeally difficult. st. lawrence seaway, or Illinois Waterway to the Mississippi (then across to FLA). Lots of open sea either way
@bmo twin 320hp Detroit Diesels.
testing, testing... yup, the laptop works from the main cabin
Wonder if I can get to my WiFi from down by the barn on the boat in its cradle?
Rainy day. Perfect for working inside on the boat!
beth doesn't like boats much.
sigh, now I get it about a boat being a hole in the water that you pour money into. you wouldn't believe the cost of a berth in door county
What a nice day for a cruise! To bad the boat is in a cradle down by the barn.
I'll get some writing done this summer though! I should get a typewriter to go with the Chris Craft
talk about an impulsive buy! guy in Tennessee had a 57 foot boat and I needed it bad. should have known it was too big to be practical here
think I'll trailer it over to Lake Michigan and see about getting a berth in Manitowoc or Two Rivers
drat, former owner says 44" draft, who can I believe? And this teak deck isn't as cool as I thought would be... sanding is hard work!
My mistake!! It's only a 37 inch draft! we are gonna do some cruising now
