  1. @fulkb Well, if I wasn't limited to 140 characters, it would have been only one post... and probably made more sense too. ;P
  2. @Malcolm_C Yeah, the ball can be a problem for sure. Oddly, it's not so bad for me on either the corded or BT Mighty Mouse.
  3. @deverill Yep, that works fine. It's only the combination of this ugly bag of water with the chair when the problem surfaces. :)
  4. @platnicat Not this time, still works with the MBP... ;)
  5. @SteveGibbon LOL!! No, not this time. ;)
  6. Final verdict: I went back to wired Mighty Mouse for now.
  7. SO ... I either stand while using the Mac, stop using Magic Mouse, or move the Mac - which might not even solve the issue.
  8. I'm not even sure moving the Mac would help because the chair would, in theory, still be there causing interference. It might though.
  9. Also read that removing metal battery cover helps so I tried that and it DID help while using the chair, but wasn't as good as without chair
  10. Tried another chair. Same thing. The metal frame of the chair is enough to interfere between Mac Pro bluetooth and the Magic Mouse.
  11. Rolled back the chair and all was well again. Rolled forward and it stopped.
  12. When I tested it by reaching up and moving it around while the Mac was open, all was fine. Sat down to work and it stopped working right.
  13. okay, so here's what I found. Stupid as it sounds, it's ... my ... chair! Not that chair specifically. ANY chair causes enough interference.
  14. Hint cont.: Sat down to work on a project, however, and it no longer worked properly.
  15. Hint: I opened Mac Pro to make sure I rewired antennas correctly. They were fine. I reached up to test and it worked perfectly!
  16. @sophiaperennis Nope, not that.
  17. @fulkb LOL, no, not cat fur ... but I did find a ton of that UNDER the Mac Pro when I moved it to rewire the antennas. yech.
  18. Magic Mouse fixed on Mac Pro?? Rerouting Wifi and BT antennas helped...a bit. Guess what the real issue is... you never will. More later.
  19. Magic Mouse & Mac Pro update: Had hopes for rewiring antenna "trick" but still skips and stutters. BT Mighty Mouse works fine. Hrm.
  20. I couldn't help myself. I just bought "Lego My Apple" ... in black. http://macslaps.com/
